Artistic Director Janet St. Jean received a BA from Dartmouth College and an MM from the New England Conservatory of Music. She has taught music in the Needham and Amherst Public Schools and is currently the Choral Director at Westfield North Middle School. She is a co-founder and the artistic director of Young Singers of Greater Westfield. She has accompanied various musicians and musical organizations, including the Greater Westfield Choral Association, the Hampshire Choral Society, and is in great demand as an accompanist throughout the region.

Our Assistant Director, Elizabeth Dominick, earned her BM (with a double major in vocal performance and music education) and her M.Ed. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She currently teaches elementary school music in the Chicopee Public School system. She was the former soprano soloist at Old First Church in Springfield and she presently sings in the Novi Cantori chamber choir with Allan Taylor. She conducts the Junior division.

Accompanist Clifton J. Noble, Jr. has a BA from Amherst College and an MA Smith College and he is currently the staff accompanist at Smith. A prolific composer, he has published original choral and instrument works and arrangements and often arranges pieces for YSGW. He has recorded several CDs and he writes about classical music for the Springfield Republican newspapers. He accompanies the Senior Division and the Moriah chamber choir.

Accompanist Karen Ducharme recieved her BA from Westfield State College. She is currently a staff accompanist and Music Department secretary. Karen is the accompanist/choir director at the Second Congregational Church in Westfield. She has played for over 150 area Musical Theatre productions and accompanied many private studio recitals. She resides in Westfield with her husband Jay and her two daughters, Heather and Elizabeth. Her son, Michael is an Army Medic stationed in Hawaii. She accompanies the Junior division.
